I can never get enough of movie poster designs so I figured with this being a huge movie season why not compile my current favorites with some upcoming movies from next year. I love trying to figure out how I think these are constructed — Photoshop…CG…a combo of both?…what font treatment ect., I get obsessed and it helps me to be inspired in my everyday work on top of it all. Here are some random thoughts on these upcoming movies:

–Can’t wait for Tron!
–”Carrie On” is a great tagline for the sequel to Sex in the City.
–Iron Man 2 looks fantastic — the first one was amazing.
–I hope Clash of the Titans will have that mechanical owl “Bubo” in it like the 80′s version.
–A tweaked version of “Papyrus” for Avatar?!…really?! That’s all they could do?! Looks like crap, movie looks good though.
–I like the poster design for “The Strip”, really liking the whole action figure packaging vibe.
